Cosmopolitan Retreats Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Cosmopolitan retreats! Please carefully review these Terms and Conditions as they govern your booking and stay with us. By completing a booking, you agree to comply with the following terms:

1. Booking and Payment

• Deposit and Payment Schedule: At the time of booking, a 50% deposit of the total accommodation cost will be charged to your credit card. The remaining 50% will be charged three (3) days prior to your check-in date.
• Pricing: Rates are per night and include applicable taxes and fees. Additional fees may apply for extra guests, cleaning, or specific services.

2. Cancellation and Re-Booking Policy

• Non-Refundable Policy: All bookings are non-refundable.
• Re-Booking Accommodation: We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel, we will do our best to accommodate a re-booking for a future date, subject to availability. Please note:
  • If the re-booked accommodation is at a higher rate, the difference will be charged to the credit card on file.
  • If the re-booked accommodation is at a lower rate, no refunds or credits will be issued.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-In: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Late check-ins can be arranged with advance notice and may incur a fee.
• Check-Out: 10:00 AM. Late check-out requests must be approved and may incur additional charges.

4. Guest Responsibilities

• Occupancy Limits: The maximum occupancy for each property is strictly enforced. Only registered guests are allowed on the premises.
• Property Use: Guests must use the property respectfully, maintain noise levels, and avoid disturbing neighbors. Events and parties are strictly prohibited.
• Damages and Incidents: Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. Damage fees may apply and will be charged to the payment method on file.

5. House Rules

• No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the property. A cleaning fee will be charged if smoking is detected indoors.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed unless specified in the booking and approved prior to arrival.
• Cleanliness: Guests must leave the property in a tidy condition. Additional cleaning fees may apply if excessive cleaning is required after check-out.

6. Liability and Indemnity

• Guest Safety: Cosmopolitan retreats is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur on the premises. Guests assume full responsibility for personal safety and belongings.
• Loss or Damage: Cosmopolitan retreats is not responsible for any loss or damage of guests' personal property. We recommend securing valuables.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

• Personal Information: By booking with us, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for booking, verification, and communication purposes. We respect your privacy and do not share information with third parties unless required by law.

8. Damages and Additional Charges

By confirming a booking with Cosmopolitan Retreat, you agree that you are financially responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required as a result of your stay. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, furnishings, appliances, lost keys, or any additional costs incurred during your stay. Cosmopolitan Retreats reserves the right to charge the credit card provided at the time of booking (or subsequently supplied) for any such damages, losses, or costs without prior authorisation from the guest/s. An itemised statement of any charges applied will be provided upon request.

9. Amendments to Terms

• Cosmopolitan retreats reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of booking will apply.
